LG Launch into Car Audio Market
In the UK, LG Electronics is a well-known name mainly due to their products in the home entertainment market along with an increasingly large presence in the mobile phone sector. However, thanks to an exclusive distribution agreement with Connect2, that trusted name is now availble in the car audio market. The LG brand should be instantly recognisable, already it's seen on the shelves of electrical stores next to the most famous brands in that market and on TV adverts, so for them to be entering the UK's car audio market is an exciting development.

T1 Audio Debut First Multi Format Head Unit
Combining DVD, Bluetooth hands-free, TV tuner and multi-format digital music formats all packaged into a single DIN unit, this promises to be a big seller, especially at a suggested RRP of under £160 this all-singing head unit promises everything for the customer demanding extreme value for money.
The detachable front face of the T1-8400 is home to a 3in touch screen 16:9 display for movie playback. Practically all digital sources are supported including USB, DVD, SD and MMC as well as playing MP3, MP4, JPEG, WMA files and also included is as an RDS tuner. European EISA Awards
The revered panel of judges from 19 European countries have voted for the best car audio products from the 2009/2010 ranges.
In June each year, the editors-in-chief from all EISA member magazines meet to decide which of the products analysed in their publications deserve as EISA award. Here are the products that have won the In-Car categories and what the judges had to say.
"I want it all and i want it small": everything you could ask for from a 21st-century head unit is here, in a compact single DIN format. For years, JVC fought against knobs and buttons cluttering the face plate, and finally this new unit is controlled entirely through the touch screen. The screen width allows a split-screen mode to combine two pictures from different sources. The KD-AVX77 takes all types of content, from movies to MP3, while built-in multi channel decoder produces 5.1 sound. And of course, media sources like iPod or USB flash memory can be easily connected.
